"To say the Seattle-based Freakout Records is merely a record label would be underselling how much it actually does for the culture of the city's music scene." -NPR Music

This year, Shabazz Palaces, Deap Vally, All Them Witches, Night Beats, Joel Gion (of The Brian Jonestown Massacre), Sneaks, Death Valley Girls, Lisa Prank and The Grizzled Mighty are among the headliners that will play alongside loads of emerging local and national acts. Performing artists hail from as far away as the UK (Tempesst) and Mexico (Los Blenders, Los Mundos, Los Honey Rockets), and we've expanded this year's festival to include select all-ages shows and stages!
Participating venues include The Tractor Tavern, Salmon Bay Eagles Club, Sunset Tavern, Conor Byrne, Sonic Boom, Lagunitas Brewery, Caffe Umbria and CC Filson. The festival will take place on November 16th and 17th and feature 50+ bands. Snag tickets now while you still can!
Prism Bitch started as a performance arts project in Albuquerque, NM, but rapidly volcanoed into total bandhood by 2016. Their first release "The Getaway," was self released in October of 2016. Since then, they have played Treefort Music Fest, toured the west coast, played tons of local shows and recorded an EP with the respected engineer, Toshi Kasai (Dave Matthews Band, Foo Fighters ) in Los Angeles.
The group has created a reputation for wild live performances, retaining their roots as a thrashing punk band, and has also developed a strong pop sensibility, often compared to The Pixies and the B-52's. They manage to represent a wide span of influences but could best be best described as soul punkers that want to rock n' roll no matter what.
Freakout is thrilled to have Prism Bitch In the family! Click the link below to watch the video for their single, "See You Cry."
